Obama bans daughters from Facebook until age eighteen

Many parents worry about what their kids are doing on Facebook, but most agree it’s just part of growing up in today’s world.

Perhaps President Barack Obama doesn’t agree, as he has banned his two daughters, aged 13 and 10, from signing up on Facebook until they are at least 18.

Obama is known by many as the first “social media president,” because he used Facebook and other social media websites during the 2008 election.

Obama says he doesn’t feel it makes a whole lot of sense for his daughters to be putting the most private details of his family life in public view.

However, on his Facebook page, which has more than 24-million “likes,” Obama enjoys posting family pictures of him having fun with his kids.

So how do the girls feel about the ban? We’ll likely have to wait a few more years until they can post that on Facebook.
