Autopsy confirms body located in Caledon pond that of Raquel Junio

Peel regional police say an autopsy has now confirmed that a body located in a pond in Caledon is that of missing Brampton woman, Raquel Junio.

The 42-year old woman was kidnapped from her home last Thursday.

Two men have been arrested and face charges in relation to her kidnapping.

Macdermid Ermacora, a 43 year-old male from Brampton, has been charged with Kidnapping, Forcible Confinement and Assault.

Gary Murray, a 42 year-old male from Brampton, has been charged with Kidnapping, Forcible Confinement and Assault.

Constable George Tudos told 680News homicide investigators are in consultation with the Crown Attorney’s office to determine the appropriate charges relating to her death.

Any further charges will be presented on Wednesday when both parties will appear in a Brampton court.
