Ford’s chief of staff leaves mayor’s office

TORONTO, On. – Mayor Rob Ford will lose two of his staffers, although the splits are reportedly not contentious.

Chief of staff Nick Kouvalis is leaving to go back to his Windsor, Ont., home, but will head up a task force to help Ford contract out home garbage pick-up.

The parting isn’t a surprise.  The Toronto Star reported Kouvalis was only supposed to stay on for a few months.

Meanwhile, Ford’s policy and council liaison Andrew Pask is leaving the mayor’s office.

Since Ford has become mayor, he’s been doing policy work.
