Toronto Marathon moving 2011 event to May, run organizer confirms to 680News

The Toronto marathon has agreed to move its 2011 event to the first Sunday in May, the run organizer has confirmed to 680News.
This fall will be the last time both the Toronto Marathon and the Waterfront Marathon will be held three weeks apart in the fall.
The Waterfront Marathon will continue to be held in September.
The change does not take effect until next year meaning this year’s marathons will run on their regular dates on September 26 and October 17.
