Funeral for slain Oshawa toddler

Family and friends gathered Friday in memory of the short life of a toddler slain by a caregiver.
More than 250 people gathered at an Oshawa funeral home to celebrate the life of Keagan Davis.
The two-and-a-half-year-old was found dead last Tuesday in a basement apartment.
Michael Monckton, 26, from Oshawa, described as the child’s mother’s boyfriend has been charged with second-degree murder.
Dozens of white balloons were released into the sky by loved ones following the funeral service.
