Movember

Movember is a month long event that sees men around the world grow moustaches to help raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research.

Some MP’s are getting into the spirit. NDP MP Matthew Dube launches his party’s campaign by shaving his colleague Peter Stoffer’s moustache in the House of Commons foyer at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

Last year, 246,060 Canadians raised $36.6-million for Prostate Cancer Canada, well above the total of $22.3 million raised by nearly 119,000 Canadians in 2010.
