John Horgan enters the BC NDP leadership race

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – NDP MLA John Horgan has announced his plan to enter the NDP leadership race.
Horgan represents the Vancouver Island riding of Juan de Fuca — and serves as Opposition Critic for Energy, Mines and Petroleum.
He says he’s been with the party since the 1980’s and his experience starting at the bottom– opening mail and working his way to the top will serve him well.

“I rose to the position of Chief of Staff to the Premier at the end of the 1990’s, so I have a broad depth of experience. I’ve been working with my caucus colleagues for the past six years. Every single one of them, cooperatively and positively.”

He joins Harry Lalli, Nicholas Simons, and pot activist Dana Larsen in the race.
