It’s hard to understate the influence that 680 NEWS has had on my life from such an early age. Having the station on in the family car quickly developed into a lifelong passion for the kind of compelling storytelling 680 has mastered for all of 25 years (longer than I’ve been alive!)
I was so fortunate to have the opportunity early this year to fulfill an internship at the station through Ryerson’s RTA School of Media, which soon gave way to an offer of employment!
680 listeners are some of the most loyal newsies around (I would know!), and the privilege of being able to share the stories that matter to the people of this wonderful city is never lost on me.
Mitch anchors the early morning news from 5-5:30am each weekday. You can also hear his reports occasionally throughout the week.
