Traffic Reporter

About Colette

Colette has driven the 680 News Traffic air waves for 21 years. Since graduation from Ryerson University’s Radio and Television Program and Seneca College’s Corporate Communications, Colette has graced five major radio/television stations. She also worked as a news anchor at 680 NEWS. She got her break at Kitchener's 570 CKGL as a traffic reporter but also produced the drive home show. But before radio, she worked in television. Working side by side with power-houses such as CTV News Anchors Lloyd Robertson and Sandie Rinaldo, she worked in publicity for CTV's news programming including W5 and Canada AM. She then became an on-air reporter for CTV’s Canadian Living Television and Global Network’s Body and Health. She also directed, produced and wrote mini documentaries for Women's Inc. at the Women's Network. Colette would like to think she has a medical background because she worked closely with doctors/scientists at St. Michael’s and the former Wellesley Hospitals as a media relations specialist. She wrote medical press releases garnering millions of dollars in grant money from all the national and international media coverage. When you don't hear Colette on 680 NEWS, she is voice actor involved in eLearning and narration projects for various corporations across North America.
