Police investigating after teen found dead in ditch in Whitchurch-Stouffville

York Regional Police are seeking assistance from the public after the body of a teenage boy was found in a ditch in Whitchurch-Stouffville.
Police say they were called to Woodbine Avenue and Vivian Road around 9 p.m. on Wednesday after getting reports of a body found in the area.
The victim has been identified as a 16-year-old boy.
The coroner determined the death was suspicious. The Homicide Unit is now investigating.
Police are asking anyone who may have any information to come forward.
