Man, 53, wanted for choking, assaulting woman in her apartment

Toronto police are looking for a 53-year-old man, wanted for assault with a weapon, in the Carlaw Avenue and Queen Street East area.
Police say the man went to a woman’s apartment in the area around 10 p.m. on May 15 and pepper sprayed her in the face.
He left and returned the next day, this time entering her apartment and allegedly began to choke her. Police allege the suspect then assaulted the woman multiple times.
Douglas MacDonald from Toronto is wanted on a number of assault charges including assault with a weapon and entering a dwelling unlawfully
He is described as five feet seven inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with a slim build, brownish/blonde short hair and is clean shaven.
Police are asking him to surrender himself and for anyone with information to come forward.
