Stoney Creek murder suspects nabbed in Hungary: Hamilton police

Two murder suspects who fled the country after allegedly killing a British Columbia man and injuring a woman in a Stoney Creek shooting last February have been arrested in Hungary.
Police say Oliver Karafa, 28 and Yun (Lucy) Lu Li, 25, both from Toronto, flew to Eastern Europe within 24 hours of the fatal shooting.
In a release Monday, Hamilton police said both suspects were arrested in Budapest, Hungary, where they are currently being held in custody while awaiting extradition.
They’re accused in the murder of 39-year-old Tyler Pratt, who was found dead in the Arvin Avenue area at around 7:15 p.m. on Feb. 28, and the attempted murder of a 26-year-old woman who was found with serious injuries, but survived.
Oliver Karafa and Lucy Li have been arrested in Hungary. The two are suspects in a Feb 2021 #HamOnt homicide and attempt murder.
