7-year-old girl sent to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in North York

A seven-year-old girl has been rushed to SickKids after being struck by a vehicle near Lawrence and the Allen in North York on Wednesday.
Toronto police were called to Fraserwood and Englemount Avenues, near Chater Court Park, just before 6 p.m.

Police say the child was conscious and breathing, but the extent of her injuries is not known.
The girl was riding her bike when she was hit. The driver stayed at the scene of the crash.
Police are now investigating.
