NASA has released new images of the Perseverance rover on Mars.
Included is a never before seen shot of the rover dangling above the Martian ground just before landing.
The colour shot shows Perseverance dangling beneath the decent stage, attached by nylon cords moments before making landfall.
The picture is a frame of full motion video that will be sent back to earth at a later date.
Perseverance beamed back its first colour images from the surface, including one showing one of its wheels in the Martian dirt.
