It happened just before 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at a waste transfer station at Millwick and Milvan drives – which is near Islington and Steeles in North York.
Toronto police said a 39-year-old man was operating a 2020 Kenworth Truck in the yard when he reversed and struck a 52-year-old man who was an employee at the location.
The victim later died of his injuries in hospital.
