What investigators still need to figure out is what happened between the boy and the suspect that lead to the shooting.
The boy is being interviewed in hospital – he was shot in the hip, suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators would also like to speak to whoever brought the boy to that hospital.
Police are looking for a Black male who is six feet tall wearing a black puffy jacket, a grey hoodie, and black pants. He is allegedly armed with a handgun.
Police have already secured some video camera evidence here at the scene but they’re hoping for more.
