Zuora: Fiscal 3Q Earnings Snapshot

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (AP) _ Zuora Inc. (ZUO) on Thursday reported a loss of $16.8 million in its fiscal third quarter.

The Redwood City, California-based company said it had a loss of 14 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense and non-recurring costs, came to 1 cent per share.

The enterprise software company posted revenue of $77.2 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in January, Zuora expects its results to range from a loss of 6 cents per share to a loss of 5 cents per share.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $75 million to $77 million for the fiscal fourth quarter.

Zuora expects full-year results to range from a loss of 14 cents per share to a loss of 13 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $301.1 million to $303.1 million.

Zuora shares have fallen 18% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $11.78, a fall of 23% in the last 12 months.
