Suspect sought after man walks into school, punches teacher in face, York police say

York police are searching for a man they allege walked into a King City school and punched a teacher in the face.

On Nov. 10 at around 11:30 a.m. police said they were called to King City Secondary School, located at 2001 King Road, for a report of an assault.

Investigators said an unknown man came into the school, walked around the first floor, then went into a second-floor classroom and punched a teacher in the face.

The man then ran out of the school and was last seen heading west on King Road.

The victim, a 37-year-old man, suffered minor injuries in the incident, police said.

No students were in the school during the incident.

Police describe the suspect as a 20-25-year-old man, with brown hair and a beard.
