NOVA LIMA, Brazil (AP) _ Afya Ltd. (AFYA) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $13.9 million.
The Nova Lima, Brazil-based company said it had net income of 15 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for amortization costs and non-recurring costs, came to 18 cents per share.
The medical education company posted revenue of $57.6 million in the period.
Afya shares have decreased slightly more than 6% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $25.38, a fall of 11% in the last 12 months.
