Person killed after being hit by GO train on Lakeshore West line Friday morning

A person has been killed after being hit on the Lakeshore West GO train line Friday morning.
There is no train service operating between Appleby and Aldershot GO stations after a person was hit by a train east of Burlington GO.
GO buses are running between Appleby and Aldershot, where riders can get on the Lakeshore West train to Union.

No word on how long train service will be impacted for.
A fatality investigation is underway.
