Cyclist killed after getting hit by a cement truck in Etobicoke

A man is dead after a collision involving a cement truck and a bicycle in Etobicoke.

Police were called to the area of Royal York Road and Judson Street shortly after 5 p.m. on Friday.

Upon arrival they found an adult male cyclist with serious injuries. Paramedics attended to the man but he eventually succumbed to the injuries.

Police say the driver of the cement truck remained at the scene.
