Court documents reportedly reveal new details surrounding Barry and Honey Sherman deaths

By Laura Carney

New details have emerged about the day Barry and Honey Sherman were found dead in newly-released court documents.

The Toronto Star has obtained redacted versions of the first four of 12 search warrant and production order applications — in which police and civilian witness statements are detailed.

The Toronto Star has been fighting the sealing order for nearly three years, and among the witness statements obtained, that of the billionaire couple’s housekeeper, the realtor selling their mansion, and their gardener.

After the realtor and two clients entered the pool room, they saw something odd at the far end, the realtor then ushered the clients back upstairs, the Toronto Star reported.

It was reportedly the gardener who eventually got close enough to confirm the couple were dead, then several calls were made to 9-1-1, including from the realtor, telling police someone had killed her clients.

Still sealed by the judge’s order is the current theory police have of the case, along with police interviews with all but one member of the Sherman family.
