Markham man found dead inside townhouse identified

York Regional Police have identified the Markham man found murdered in his home earlier this week.

Police were called to a home on Feeney Lane, in the area of Bayview Avenue and Highway 7, just after 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon for a report of a man who was found dead inside.

The victim has now been identified as 58-year-old Mohammad Mehdi Amin.

Police continue to appeal to the public to keep an eye out for a missing vehicle — a black Honda CRV with the Ontario licence plate BNEV917.
