Charlie Brown holiday specials won’t be airing on cable TV this year

For the first time in decades, the Charlie Brown holiday specials wont be on television because of an exclusive deal with Apple.

If one of your favourite holiday traditions is to watch the ‘Charlie Brown Christmas’ and ‘It’s a Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown,’ you’re going to need to alter your plans, this year.

Apple TV has announced an exclusive deal with the Peanuts cartoons, which means, those specials are now Apple TV exclusive.

A Charlie Brown Christmas has been a TV staple since it premiered on CBS in 1966.

You’re not completely out of luck.

Apple said for a couple odd days, they are going to make these specials free.

The Halloween special is already airing on Apple TV.

The Thanksgiving one is coming, as well as is a Charlie Brown Christmas.

Also a fun tip — you can find the full movies on YouTube too.
