Man shot in suspected drive-by near Morningside and Kingston Road

A 23-year-old man is in hospital after a shooting Friday morning in the city’s east end.
Police were called to the scene in the Morningside Avenue and Kingston Road area around 9:20 a.m.
The victim was outside a residence when it appears he was shot by someone in a vehicle.
He suffered a gunshot wound to his shoulder and his hand. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The suspect is descried as a man believed to be in his early 20s, with long, curly hair. He was wearing a blue medical mask and a silk sweater with a white Roots logo.
The suspect fled the scene in a dark blue Nissan Maxima.
