McDonald’s restaurant in Junction closed after employee contracted COVID-19

A McDonald’s restaurant in the Junction has been closed after an employee contracted COVID-19.

The company said an employee at the 630 Keele Street location tested positive for the virus Tuesday. Their last shift was on October 6th from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The restaurant is being thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.

All crew members who may have come into contact with the employee have been told to self-isolate.

It’s asking any McDonald’s guests who may have been at the location on October 6 to take directions from Ontario Public Health services.
