Cineplex says one-and-a-half million people have returned to its theatre and entertainment venues since the province announced re-opening measures on July 1st.

The chain says guests have consumed more than 460 million kernels of popcorn, more than 16 million fluid ounces of fountain pop, and nearly 60-thousand hot dogs.

And in a release, Cineplex says it should continue to improve from here.

Movie-goers can look forward to the highly anticipated James Bond film ‘No Time to Die’ and ‘Black Widow’ – both expected to be released in November – along with ‘Wonder Woman 1984’, which is expected to be released in December.
