Ontario reporting more than 200 new COVID-19 cases

Ontario is reporting 213 new cases of COVID-19 Friday.
- The province reported 170 new cases on Thursday.
- There are now 44,068 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ontario.
- There were more than 32,500 tests completed.
- Toronto recorded 71 cases, 38 new cases in Peel, and 37 new cases in Ottawa.
- 67% of the new cases are recorded in people under the age of 40.
Friday marks the first day of more than 200 new cases since July 21st.
Ontario is reporting 213 cases of #COVID19 with over 32,500 tests completed. Locally, 26 PHUs are reporting five or fewer cases with 18 reporting no new cases. There are 71 cases in Toronto, with 38 in Peel and 37 in Ottawa. 67% of today’s cases are in people under the age of 40.
