O’Toole introduces new House leadership team

New Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole announced his House leadership team on Wednesday

Among the appointments for the official opposition, Manitoba MP Candice Bergen has been named House Deputy Leader. Quebec MP’s Richard Martel and Gerard Deltell have been named Quebec Political Lieutenant and House Leader of the Official Opposition respectively.

Bergen was previously Minister of State for Social Development for Stephen Harper’s Conservative government.

In a release O’Toole said, “I am incredibly proud to work with these dedicated and professional members of Parliament who I know will help grow our Conservative movement.”
