Canada’s largest airline says it’s had to deal with some passengers who refuse to wear a face covering.
Air Canada tells 680NEWS: “There have been a small number of incidents where customers have been sanctioned for non-compliance.”

The airline would not go into detail on exactly how many such incidents their were or what the sanctions were, though it says “We have a graded approach, up to and including travel bans.”
Anyone travelling on Canadian aircraft are required by law to wear facial coverings. Air Canada points out that “Overall, however, our customers are generally respectful of each other and understand the importance of wearing facial coverings.”
In the U.S, Delta Airlines says it’s banned nearly 250 passengers for refusing to wear masks.
