Woman killed in daytime stabbing in downtown Toronto

Toronto Police say a woman who was stabbed at a convenience store in the city has died.
Initial reports say a woman armed with a knife stabbed a person just after 10 a.m., near Sherbourne and Dundas Streets.
The victim in her 30s was taken to a trauma centre with serious wounds, where she later died.
Toronto Police’s homicide squad has taken over the investigation.
The circumstances leading up to the stabbing are unknown at this time.
