Ontario confirmed 95 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.

There were 33 cases reported on Tuesday — including the removal of several cases that were deemed to be duplicates.

One more person has died, bringing the death toll at 2,787.

The province now has 40,289 confirmed cases, with 90.8 per cent considered resolved.

In a tweet, Minister of Health Christine Elliott noted that hospitalizations, ICU admissions and vented patients all decreased.
