Two suspects are in custody after a financial institution at Queen Street and Carlaw Avenue was held up on Thursday afternoon.
Police responded to a call in the area shortly before 1 p.m.
They say two males armed with a hand gun entered the financial institution and demanded money. They fled with a bag full of an undetermined amount of cash.
One suspect was caught shortly after and police soon tracked down the second suspect as well.
The bag of money was recovered and no injuries were reported.
