Man shot multiple times outside bar in Scarborough

A 21-year-old man is in hospital after he was shot outside a bar in Scarborough overnight.
Around 1 a.m. the victim was shot multiple times while in the parking lot of Happy Time Bar on Lawrence Avenue East, near Scarborough Golf Club Road.
Paramedics rushed the victim to hospital with life-threatening injuries but his condition has since improved and he is expected to survive.
No suspect description has been released.
Police say the victim is known to authorities.
