Man shot in Crowne Plaza Hotel parking lot

A 39-year-old man has serious injuries after he was shot in the parking lot of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Etobicoke.
Police responded to a call at Carlson Court near Dixon Road and Highway 27 around 10:30 p.m. on Monday.
Upon arrival, officers found the man bleeding from gunshot wounds. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Hotel management said the victim was a guest at the hotel.
Police said a man was seeing fleeing the scene in a light or sky blue car.
He is described as a white male, short and skinny, wearing a baseball cap and dark jacket with ‘BMW’ on the back.
