Brampton man charged in single car crash

A 38-year-old Brampton man is facing several charges following a single vehicle crash in Brampton.
Peel Regional Police say they were called to the area of Chinguacousy and Mayfield roads around 5:30 p.m. Saturday for reports of an accident.
When they arrived, they discovered a black corvette on its roof in a grassy area minus its driver.
The driver was eventually located a few kilometres from the scene of the crash. He has been charged with dangerous driving and failing to remain at the scene of a collision.
Police are also investigating whether speed and/or impairment may have also played a role in the crash.
