An 18-year-old man is facing charges after a little girl was allegedly touched inappropriately while at a summer camp in Whitby.
Police said it happened on Tuesday at a reptile zoo.
The six-year-old girl was enrolled in a week-long summer camp when the incident happened.
The accused, Quinn McGrath, of Oshawa, was a counsellor at the camp.
Police said when the accusations were brought forward, McGrath was immediately suspended from work.
McGrath has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.
