Man injured at Scarborough construction site

A man, believed to be in his 40s, has been taken to hospital after an industrial accident at a construction site in Scarborough.

Police said it happened around 8 a.m. Tuesday at McNicoll Avenue and Milliken Boulevard, just east of Kennedy Road.

The man was reportedly pinned by a boom lift.

Paramedics said the man suffered serious injuries.

The Ministry of Labour has been contacted and will be investigating the incident.
