Woman seriously injured in Dixon Road shooting

A woman in her 20s is in hospital after a shooting in Etobicoke on Sunday afternoon.

Police responded to reports of a shooting in the Dixon Road and Kipling Avenue area around 1:30 p.m.

The victim was reportedly shot twice and taken to hospital in serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police have identified a man wearing a mask fled the scene in a black SUV.
