Dog stolen while on a walk with owner in Scarborough found

A man’s dog that was stolen during an early-morning walk in Scarborough has been found

It happened just after midnight on Wednesday at McCowan Road at Finch Avenue East.

Police said the suspects, one of which was armed with a knife, approached the victim and demanded money from him.

When the victim told them he did not have any cash, the suspects allegedly took his cellphone and his grey and brown toy poodle.

His owner confirmed Ding Ding had been found wandering around his complex and believes the suspects may have just let her loose.

Police continue to look for three suspects wanted in the robbery. Two of the suspects are described as black men, wearing dark clothing. The other is described as a white man, wearing a red T-shirt.
