Peel police are reminding the public to lock their doors, windows and backyard gates at night after a string of break-ins in Mississauga.

It was reported that during the early-morning hours between July 13 and July 16 there were multiple break and enters at homes in the area of Glengarry Road, Dundas Street West, Queensway West and Mavis Road.

In each incident, police say it appears the suspect got into the home, or tried to get into the home, through the back gate, rear or side property access points and then proceeded to look for unlocked windows or doors.

Police have released security images of the suspect.

He is described in his 20s, with a slim build, has some facial hair and was wearing a baseball hat.

Police are asking anyone with information on these break-ins or who may know the identity of the suspect, to contact investigators.
