Kensington Market shooting leaves 2 people injured

Police are investigating after a shooting in Kensington Market left two people injured early Monday morning. Sgt. Jeff Zammit says when he pulled up to the scene, one of the injured men was being helped into a car by friends.

Police are investigating after a shooting in Kensington Market left two people injured early Monday morning.

Police said they were called to a report of gunfire near Baldwin Street and Spadina Avenue at around 4:05 a.m.

EMS said they transported a man to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

A second man made his own way to a local hospital, police said. His injuries are considered serious, but non-life-threatening.

Police continue to investigate the incident.
