Toronto police are investigating after a taxicab flipped over on St. Clair Avenue West overnight.
Emergency crews were called to the scene near Oakwood Avenue around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Police said the taxi crashed into a pole and flipped upside down.
The driver was taken to hospital with, what was believed to be, serious injuries. Those injuries are now considered minor.
There has been no word on charges.
The intersection of St. Clair and Winona Drive was shut down for several hours while police investigated but has since reopened.
