Service Canada network outage affecting passport services resolved

A network outage that affected passport services at some Service Canada centres on Tuesday has been resolved.

The outage affected urgent passport services.

Passport Canada tweeted about the issue around 8:45 a.m. The issue was resolved around noon.

Canada Revenue Agency experienced issues with their online tax-filing services on Monday, which they said was caused by a “computer hardware issue.” Services were back up and running by the early evening.
