Porter to offer flights to Muskoka starting this summer

Heading up to cottage country from Toronto usually means avoiding getting stuck in heavy traffic on Highway 400, but Porter has found a solution.
Porter Airlines has announced they will be flying to the Muskoka Airport from Billy Bishop Airport beginning this summer.
Flights will take around 20 minutes and operate two flights on Thursday afternoons and and two flights on Monday mornings.
There will also be Tuesday departures on long weekends.
Porter adds connecting flights will be available via Toronto from different destinations in Canada and The U.S.
“This new route serves as a great opportunity to link Muskoka to our North American network,” Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines, said.
Flights can be found for as little as $115 for both ways. Few seats were available for the first weekend of service.
The airline will begin flying north on June 27 and service will end on Sept. 3.
