Man seriously injured after shooting in North York

A man was rushed to hospital with serious-to-life-threatening injuries after a shooting in North York.

Police and paramedics were called to the Varna Drive and Ranee Avenue area, near Allen Road and Highway 401, around 10:45 p.m. Saturday.

A white four-door car with two men inside was seen leaving the area, police said. Both men are considered suspects in the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.
