Man, 24, wanted in connection with violent assault near Bathurst and Lakeshore

Toronto police have released an image of a suspect in connection with a violent assault in the Fort York neighbourhood.

It was reported that during January and February, a man violently assaulted someone he knew.

Police said the assaults happened in the area of Bathurst Street and Lakeshore Boulevard West.

No details have been released on the victim’s condition.

Adam Hossny, 24, of Toronto is wanted for two counts of assault with a weapon, four counts of assault and uttering threats.

He is described as five feet eight inches tall and 180 pounds.

Police said Hossny is considered violent and possibly armed with a knife. Anyone who sees Hossny is being advised not to approach him but to call 911 immediately.
