Man seriously injured after 'incident' near Keele and Lawrence

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was found stabbed near Keele Street and Lawrence Avenue West.

Paramedics were called to the scene at Keele and Flamborough Drive just before 4 a.m. Monday after an off-duty officer found the victim outside a low-rise apartment building.

The man in his mid-20s was taken to hospital with a serious head and hand injury, where is now undergoing surgery. His condition is not considered life-threatening.

There is still no word yet what caused the victim’s injuries, but police suspect the incident is not a criminal matter

Police have also taped off a home on Flamborough.
