Six people are in custody after a knife and a pellet gun were found at a high school in Milton, Halton regional police said in a release.
Police said they received a call around 11:30 a.m. about people being chased by a group of boys.
Police say Bishop P. F. Reding Catholic Secondary School on Main Street East, near James Snow Parkway South, was locked down shortly before noon. The lockdown has since been lifted.
Chris Hadfield Public School and St. Peter Catholic Elementary School were under a hold and secure, but those have also been lifted.
Police had seven people in custody originally, but released one.
“An airsoft gun that was initially thought to be part of this incident is confirmed to be unrelated,” Halton police said in a release.
No injuries were reported and school was dismissed early.
