Police seek suspect in theft of defibrillator from GO bus terminal

Peel Regional Police are searching for a man who stole a defibrillator machine from a GO bus terminal in Mississauga.
Police say the suspect approached a ticket booth at the bus terminal at Square One Shopping Centre around 3:30 p.m. Friday, telling the attendant someone was having a heart attack in the parking lot. The then proceeded to grab the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) from a cabinet and fled.
It was later determined that there was no medical emergency.
The AED is said to be valued at approximately $1,500.
The suspect is described as being white, 25-year-old with a thin build and unshaven. He was wearing a white beanie with red lettering, a blue backpack, white shoes and a grey coat.
